We specialise in in the water removal, diesel bug removal and polishing of diesel fuels, as well as the polishing, contaminant removal and water removal from other oils such as hydraulic oil and gear oils, saving what would otherwise be considered contaminated and waste fuels and oils...... reducing costs and reducing carbon footprints.

Oil Cleaning
Approximately 80 -90% of all failures of hydraulic components are due to contaminated oil. This contamination can be from water, chemincals or particles and enter the hydraulic system through various means such as quick release couplings , shaft seals etc, topping up etc.
Even New oil is not Clean Oil .....If you use hydraulic oil from a large drum, there is a high chance that it already contains some water and dirt particles; new hydraulic oil typically has a cleanliness level of ISO 4406 23/21/18, which is more than most hydraulic systems will tolerate. If the system has a rating of say, 20/18/15, then the new hydraulic oil is already too contaminated, as a single digit increase in any of those numbers is effectively a doubling of the contamination level for each micron size.

How much will it cost
The cost of fuel or oil polishing or any other service is dependant upon the work entailed and ultimately the level of contamination. As specialists we will do a preliminary sample and or survey and advise of the cost before any works therefore ensuring your not spending any more than you need to.
How do you know when the oil is clean?
To determine if oil is clean, you can visually inspect it for any cloudiness or discoloration. Clean oil will be clear and free from any suspended particles. Additionally, oil analysis tests can help assess its cleanliness.
How long will it take?
The length of time it will take to polish your fuel or oil will vary depending upon many factors such as amount of contamination, tank type, and amount of fuel or oil to be polished. We only charge by the amount of fuel/ oil polished and amount of filters used not by the length of time it takes us.
